Meet the Organizer
My name is Ainazik! I live and work in Osh, dedicating myself to preserving the city’s historical and cultural heritage. I explore local history, fine art, and monumental art, driven by my deep love for my city and its rich past.
I offer unique walking tours exploring the mosaics of Osh—a journey into the era of Soviet modernism, where every wall fragment tells its own story. During the tour, you’ll discover the distinctive artistic heritage of the 1960s–80s modernization project and learn how you can help preserve these mosaics, many of which are sadly in decline. If you’re eager to see Osh from a fresh perspective and uncover how art is interwoven with daily life, join us on this unforgettable experience!
